Fruity Pebbles OG, also known as FPOG, was created in 2006 by the California-based Alien Genetics team. The hybrid of Granddaddy Purple and Green Ribbon with Tahoe Alien pollen is where the cultivar gets its name (Tahoe OG x Alien Kush). Although FPOG was initially only meant to be a limited release, other growers soon started producing their plants due to how well-received the original hybrid from Alien Genetics was.
